If the story is true, they must be absolutely retarded, unless the tracks have a 2.5 km straight there will be no overtaking, especially with these cars. Azerbaijan was an exception this year, no one can even remember the race taking place there in 2016 that’s how bad it was.

Who owns the rights to the name of the Spanish GP? This could have ramifications if the Catalans break away from Spain as it might mean there having to be a replacement for Barcelona. Could we finish up with the Catalonian GP and the Spanish GP, the latter having to find a new circuit.

Either way, this whole thing is being conducted by Madrid in a very different manner to the Scottish situation in 2014.
