To be honest Mick Schumacher in a Ferrari is some crazy idea talked in Maranello that would supposedly be good for the brand

They were so desperate for him to succeed or get into F1 even if he did not win F2 as long as he put a decent showing he was going to be promoted over Schwartzmann and Illott

It’s the media hype around Max Verstappen and the sycophant of a boss Christian Horner that makes him overrated. The constant banging on about how young he is and that he is somehow a driver that any teammate will loose to automatically. The way that he is held up as a World Championship in waiting but has never won a single seater World championship. He is just a petulant little oik who needs to be bought down a peg or two because he has this attitude that he is almost entitled to be World Champion.
Put him up against Lewis Hamilton for season and then he would probably crumple in a heap as he is neither consistent enough, or has the gumption to see the bigger picture of how to win a World Championship.Beating Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon doesn’t make you great.

I know this is like 5 years old and i’m beating a dead horse but I was scrolling on this old forum and WOW, with all due respect and understanding that you couldn’t have possibly predicted 2021 and what happened after, I have not seen a more poorly aged statement than this

Well everyone said he could win a Haas at one stage.
Interesting it took a change of leadership to change the car for him to be better.

in fairness, max verstappen was in 2019 & 2020, very quick but very erratic. we werent sure how his temperament would cope in the heat of a battle, we have seen many drivers who are nailed on world champions, that never made it, riccardio & leclerc are the 2 most recent
