Gaming F1 2011

Write up time, My session again started late as I was checking football team news and then I went to change my set-up. After advise from Bushi, I went for super hard springs and some random features and when I went out on some brand new set of medium tyres, I spun thinking i had cold tyres. I came in and fixed my front wing went back out and my car was so slidy but I presumed it was still cold tyres but the graphic showed green and it was just a poor set up.
But coming out of Turn 2 I was hit from behind, presumably revenge from Bushi,

Don't know how hard your springs were, but i used a 7/8 and ride height should be 1/1 at every track.
Slipping and sliding could also be that you are setting your toe to high. Had the same prob. in the ARL race.Just some tips.;)

Yeah, that second corner i was a bit to late on the brakes, sorry about that.

I never know how high my springs are, usually the hardest they can be now! And I did the cambers very fast and randomly! they shall be low next race! So low I won't be able to turn! Also don't worry about it! even though maybe with a drive through I may have won... despite being 40 seconds down!

Chamber should be high and Toe low.
It's more fun if everyone knows the tricks of a good setup.

I'll check this forum just before the race and make the camber as high as possible with toe as low as possible! And I'll go for traditional one lap approach

Guys, I made a school boy error. I am away at a lake house this weekend and forgot my Xbox! Absolutely gutted. I was looking forward to china as well. I have been practicing all week. Sorry lads.

Noooo! This was gonna be the biggest race yet! If Sly joins we'll have 4! And I only practice with a quick one lap race before 2!

My post race report shall not be as interesting as I had a horrific race after first corner contact with, yes you guessed it, Bushi! 3/3, take that Hamilton vs Massa!

Not the Boss, or Weather fail derails the charge! Bushi overcomes Saturday Blues! Viscount's discount!
The race started with only 3 starters again with Viscount coming in for Chreden and Qually was different as the weather for Sunday had 100% rain giving me false hope that I stood a chance of a decent result, so I tried to gain track position on my first qually visit to the options but my set up again was wrong and my lap times were 15-40 seconds off the pace, all with numerous spins.
Race day and I was disappointed to see I would only require inters but I optimisticly went for a dry set-up second to driest. The race started and I hoped for another good start and I got the exact opposite but I managed to get past Bushi into Turn 1, but on the exit we made contact and I was sent into a spin facing the wrong way and that just set the race. I journied on knowing my expect finish was P3 and I would get some nice XP but the race was horrid! At least 7 spins, 4 at the same corner. I pitted late to no prevail and finished last 1:36 down on the winner Bushi, who looks ever likely to take the world championship.

The Standings (Not on Sky Graphics because that looks boring!) Numbers in brackets indicate amount of races participated
1. Bushi 75pts (3/3)
2. Jos the Boss 35pts (3/3)
3. Viscount 22pts (2/3)
4. Westy 18pts (1/3)
5. Chreden 15pts (1/3)
6. Slyboody 0pts (0/3)

With scenes reminiscent of the 2005 US GP, only 3 drivers took to the grid in China as a number teams failed to turn up due to disagreements regarding the Concorde Argeement. Not wanting to miss another race, I utilised mysponsors to buy out his Red Bull contract and get me in a Sauber race seat in a driver swap with Perez.

Keen to impress on my Sauber debut I managed to get pole in a dry qualifying with Bushi close behind in 2nd and Jos the Boss in 3rd. Unfortunately the weatherman Jos and my engineer failed to inform me that the race would be wet and so I only just made some last minute adjustments to my setup for the race. I had good start, but whilst trying to get used to a lack of ABS in the wet I locked up into Turn 6 on the first lap, running wide and relinquishing the lead to Bushi. I spent the next few laps getting used to the new car and finally start challenging Bushi for the lead, but due to his great defending I couldn't make a move stick despite many attempts. After the first round of pitstops I came out just over 3 seconds behind Bushi, but I managed to put in a number of 'qualifying laps' hunting him down, but couldn't get quite close enough to try to overtake again and finshed the in 2nd 0.747s behind him with Jos in 3rd.
