BTCC Anyone else interested in BTCC at Thruxton on Sun 26 April?

It looks like a few of us are going to the BTCC at Thruxton on Sunday 26 April.

So far there's me, Speshal, Amdathlonuk plus a few others and better halfs.

Tickets are £22 which is slightly cheaper than F1 at Silverstone

The nearest train station is Grateley and there is a direct train from London Waterloo.

If anyone else fancies making a day of it, post here and we'll see if we can arrange to meet up/travel there together, etc.

Oh and does anyone know the best place to view the racing from?

I may......may be intresed, ive only been 2 one event that was when i was 12 lol 2000 BTCC meeting at Brands Hatch, dunno weather i can yet put ill put name into the mix if dont me taggin along?

The more the merrier chap.

It's a reasonably priced day out and you get to see plenty of racing as in addition to the BTCC action there are all the support races.

Once details are finalised I'll post here and then people can just decide whether to get involved.

It's a long way to travel from Birmingham though...

Travelling shouldn't be a problem, ive taken a few tips down devon before which aint that far away relative to see an old m8 of mine so im used to it

Change of plan.

There's been a bit of a mix up with tickets so several people are now going on the Saturday to qualifying instead of the race on Sunday
Couple that with the fact that the first train to Grateley doesn't arrive until after 0930 and I've decided to give it a miss.

Instead I will be going to the last meet of the season which is at Brands Hatch and only 25 minutes away.

Apologies for the late change but as far as I am aware Speshal will still be going on the Sunday.
