Or maybe not, although this would make no sense to me because why would mercedes test driver go to ferrari powered sauber. Espically when manor have 2017 mercedes engine & sauber have 2016 engine

Wehrlein to Sauber .. either he has fallen out with Mercedes or they rather him pair up with a more competitive teammate in Ericsson to prove himself rather than stay at Manor

Nobody gives a shit about the backmarker silly season, while there are still positions at top teams open for speculation. Hence as a backmarker team you wait until most of the other seat have been confirmed to announce drivers and grab some headlines in between races.
