I would suggest France's qualifying campaign was more impressive than England's.

If you want to look at Groups of Dearth, Columbia and Argentina should be into the last 16 without sweat.

Brazil vs Colombia - Colombia hold out for longer than we expect, buried by Neymar though
France vs Germany - Germany's two-yearly choke as France produce their good performance for the tournament
Spain vs Italy - We all forget how tight the group game was in Euro 2012. Spain 1-0 again.
Argentina vs USA - A semi-difficult game for Argentina. And a semi-final.

Brazil vs France - Revenge for 1998 & 2006 is sweet.

Nor do I. Brazil will be tough to beat, but if anybody can do it my best guesses are Italy, Germany, Argentina, or maybe even my wildcards Belgium, Switzerland and Chile. Also watch for the African sides. Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria seem especially dangerous. I say an African side makes the semis.

That's what happens when they don't have a seeding system, oh hang on even they did England would still have to take the hard route because they are shit...

They do have (sort of) a seeding system - Switzerland were the top seeds, and it's pot luck as to which team from which region is in which group. As France are in Switzerland's group - who don't seem to be the best right now - they have an easier group.
