Is it a coincidence that Koby is going so fast given that his teammate for the last five races of the season was the Pirelli test driver from August to the end of September? Sauber must be at some advantage with his input over that time, even though it looks like Heidfeld is out of a job next year!

Hehehe! Clever Peter Sauber, he never misses a trick. Had those arseholes at BMW given him their millions and autonomy instead of buying him out they'd have had half a dozen championships by now. :goodday:

Interesting. Schumacher is very good with that tyres, he's time is almost better than on qualifications for Abu Dhabi GP :)

Hello JuR3

Really difficult to read anything into schumi's times, and anyones elses for that matter. Nobodys doing low fuel runs from whati hear. Cars arn't designed for these tyres. And lets face it Schumi was better half the time during pratice rather then any other point during the weekend.

Mercades keep making buzz noises about how the cars have to be suited to the tyres next year, Thet Merc will be and that change of tyre manufactour will not help them.

seems strange they feel the need to mention half this stuff. Its not exactly new news. Anybody getting the sense there preparing exuces for next season already? Maybe there worried about the 2011 car?

Also intresting to note rosboerg is the one who has been making the statements, while Schumacher has said he is 'cautiously happy'

Strange that McLaren don't feel it necessary to use either of their drivers for these tests. You would have thought some early experience on the new rubber, whether the car is designed for the tyres or not, would have been of use.

I'm a bit surprised that no-one has posted the correction to the Saturday tyre test times.

"Michael Schumacher, who has struggled with front-end grip throughout the 2010 season, was initially placed second-fastest, putting in a lap just 0.156s off Alonso with 15 minutes of the day remaining, but this was later disallowed due to the German cutting a chicane, which dropped him to seventh"
