yeah 2 4th was gutting in slopestyle so the record of never winning a gold or silver on snow continues.
although that curling is typical Britain. wins 1st 7 games. 8 of the 1st 9. qualifying top the league. only to save our worst game for the game that matters

The curling was horrible. They didn't look good from the first end. Then in the 6th they simply choked.
They now face the Italians for Bronze. Hopefully they can get themselves back together and take home a medal.
The big air competition was disappointing but thee worst thing about was the two idiots commentating. Shouting and yelling about how awesome it was then looking a right pair of prats when the judges disagreed.
It would have been really nice instead of shouting and screaming they actually spent a little time explaining what we were seeing.
It was so bad that Claire Balding had to ask them after the event to explain the scoring moves and why we didn't do as well.

I know I keep saying this but the quality of commentary across the board (with the exception of the Curling) is absolutely shocking.
Listening to Robin Cousins covering the Ice Skating was hilarious. After the British pair finished he was going nuts, saying that it was way better than the same routine they did in the team event.
He slowly went quiet as the technical scores were read off and then said nothing for a bit when it was clear that it had scored less than the team.event.
It's so painful to watch but unfortunately I don't have an alternative.

Watched the Bronze Medal match - could have had 3 at 1st end and gave away 1 was the deciding factor

Super-G is mad. No training runs at all. If you’re first to go, you’re basically racing blind, while everyone after you gets at least some idea of the course from watching it on TV.

yeah i think we did. & pressure likely mounted as well. as i believe we beat all 3 medalists in the group.
we played some great stuff in the final 3 ends. but the damage was done by then
They'd probably be given a general layout of the course but yeah, the no training runs must make it a proper challenge.
