Valencia Test

1. F. Massa Ferrari	F10	1:12.574 102 pit
2. P. de la Rosa BMW Sauber C25 1:12.784 +0.210 74 pit
3. M. Schumacher Mercedes GP W01 1:12.947 +0.373 40 pit
4. N. Rosberg Mercedes GP W01 1:13.543 +0.969 39 pit
5. G. Paffett McLaren MP4-25 1:13.846 +1.272 86 pit
6. R. Barrichello Williams FW32 1:14.449 +1.875 75 pit
7. S. Buemi Toro Rosso STR5 1:14.762 +2.188 18 pit
8. R. Kubica Renault R30 1:15.000 +2.426 69 pit

Buemi hauls himself off the back of the grid and leaves poor Robert holding day ones wooden spoon...

Lamentable for the hornet. :embarrassed:

I can't wait to see Alonso take to the track now. Looking at the time sheets and seeing Massa put in (I presume) 102 realatively trouble free laps, I guess you could say that he's back and up for it. Somehow I think there may have been a little intake of breath in the Alonso camp followed by a whisper of "not again".

one single question comes to mind...

did macca use that darn foil again or where they rid of those terrible colours and finally developed a racing car instead of a sticker board?

otherwise, ah, what can you say? schumi seems amazing.

We all know Schumacher is a freak. He knows exactly what the car can do and exploit it to the full with absolutely no rehersal at all. :o :o

Was it me, or was our 2 1/2 months of no racing met with a fair amount of apathy from the British media.....

Schumacher - back in the saddle, but in short session did we really expect any less of Mr Machine....

Massa, more laps than you'll find at an OAP convention and the best time in each session - anyone fancy picking up that gauntlet

I'm so looking forward to day two and three to try to see some trends, but where am I going to find consistent following in detail - :disappointed: What can I say, but thanks Snowy!!!!

Hey ho, the 2010 season is a lot closer than the 2009 season at least.....

Returned to track soon after and clocked 1:12.614 at the beginning of a 12 lap stint...

In most of the times I've seen so far, the Ferrari seems to be on top.

I hope that's not a sign of things to come...

or the other teams just don't want to play their best cards yet?
[/quote:3biaihoo]

Well, Ferrrari haven't used Alonso's 6/10ths yet have they...

But on a brighter note, It would seem that the BMW Sauber C29 really is on the button in terms of initial pace. Now I wonder if that's a Brawn 09 style "egg on your face BMW" shape of things to come or a Williams 09 style "Wow we're back in the big time, oops perhaps not" shape of things to come? I hope the former but fear the latter.
