I was watching update from Sky sports on my phone throughout the race and very early on they posted a message stating that Hamilton had been told if he back Rosberg up then they would consider giving Rosberg the undercut. From that it was clear from very early on that the team had set out their expectations to the drivers.

2nd, I didn't watch the race. Was Rosberg heard at anytime requesting on the radio for Hamilton to move over?

Spot on vintly. Greenlantern101 was saying the same thing on chat for most of the race.

Gotcha, I kinda switched off from the chat, only had my phone and it was too fiddly, so missed that.

cider_and_toast Towards the end of the race Karun Chandok reported that Rosberg radioed the team to ask Hamilton to move over because he believed he could be going a lot faster when Vettel was charging through

Hamilton kind of obeyed until the pit stops were done then properly dropped the pace once the threat was over.

Rosberg (very cleverly) responded to the worry about Vettel winning the race by saying that if Lewis didn't have the pace then they could let him through and if Lewis manages to hold on for 2ND he'd let him back through at the end.

He did say it was a silly idea as he said it.

Nico certainly seemed very stressed about the last few laps in interviews. He might of cracked if he had had that pressure the whole race.

Rosberg said it was a horrible race from "crazy Max" onwards.

I just had Singapore 2009 in my head and hoped to God (flying spaghetti monster etc.) that he stayed calm and focused.

He did extremely well under the circumstances.

I think he was being cheeky and I'm pretty sure Lewis would asked the exact same thing if situation was reversed, only with "come on" at he front and "man" at the end.

RasputinLives Given they have tried everything to slow Max down and Rosberg had to be quite forceful to make the pass earlier in the race. Everyone was hoping Max might pull off one more stunning move

Still got most championships hasn't he? to be fair it evened out though as the whole or Red Bull have been trying to mess with Rosberg for 2 races now.
