LH in 6th and NR on pole. A win seems unlikely for Lewis unless NR bullet proof car breaksdown.

Assume no more DNF's for the Mercs and a 1,2 result to the end of the season.
If LH wins 6 more races including Abu Double from the remaining 11 races including Silverstone he can still get the championship.

Of course a DNF from NR would help.

If anyone wins the WDC due to double points it will be a travesty.

I am beginning to compare Lewis Hamilton to Nigel Mansell and Nico Rosberg to Nelson Piquet

1) Lewis/ Nige were clearly the faster driver but always seems to find ways to hit trouble or problems

2) Nico/ Nelson a bit more cunning and craft to make it difficult to close down the gap

You guys do realize that these situations are completely incomparable? Those guys are celebrating race victories prematurely. Hamilton was neither racing nor celebrating.

Looks to me like Rosberg had 30.082, so Hamilton was 1.1 sec slower.

If a driver other than Hamilton moved aside and let their teammate have a clean lap they would most likely receive plaudits for not impeding their main opponent throughout the lap instead of having incongruous videos posted in an effort to belittle the man for what he admitted was an error in judgement.

After S1+S2:
Vettel: +2,616
Magnussen: +3,119
Hulkenberg: +3,271
to Hamilton time

And on finish:
Vettel: -1,846
Magnussen: -0,815

i.e. on S3 they added:
Vettel: -4,462
Magnussen: -3,934

Lewis did mistake assessment of contribution dry Sector 3 to the lap time
He are needing fix this mistake in the race.

Presumably Rosberg will have an automatic 5 place grid drop penalty at the next race, due to an unscheduled change for less than six consecutive events.
