Current Haas

From the start of the 2016 season we will be able to welcome the Haas F1 Team into the F1 fold. They have just announced one of their drivers in a live stream on their website a really good signing with the talent that is Roman Grosjean. No word of the second driver as yet.

Stewart Haas Racing in NASCAR already stands the team in good stead to getting off to a flying start. These guys know how to race. In turn they also have one of the best wind tunnels in the world and CNC factories at their beck and call as part of the Haas empire.

They seem to think they can hit the ground running and score points in their first season.

I say good luck to them.

He has been accused of inappropriately touching a woman's breast in a video he posted on his Instagram.
He's not the first dickhead to get a drive, and won't be the last.
there was also the homophobic issue

Very fortunate James Hunt was driving before the internet and Twatter, I somehow feel that his career wouldn't have even taken off today.
I think the opposite in fact he would generate a PR for his partying antics although he would be a sponsors nightmare.

heres a question, do they let nikita mazepin race but start him on 10 penalty points, so that he is forced to behave or consequences. or is even that too lenient

Having looked through his results in lower formulae I'm struggling to understand why anyone would want him in their F1 car, regardless of how unpleasant a human being he appears to be.

Lance Stroll may be a spoilt, rich kid but he did at least win something.

Apparently Haas are taking the matter seriously

Some people think its blown over the top .. the point is he is suppose to represent what Haas is

I wonder if Nikita's Dad is going to point the gun at Gunther's head if he dares to sack his son about not seeing a single penny

If Haas don't do anything it sets precedent in F1 that behaviour is acceptable if you have money.. lets not talk about Max Mosley

... and have done sod all about it! Mazepin should have been fired, or moved to the sidelines for at least part of the season...

There is a twitter movement to get Mazepin sacked that is gathering a lot of following

Jack&Jones will not sponsor Haas as they were at thd end of their contract agreement plus KMag is no longer driving for the team as he is backed by them. As a parting shot to appear moral they said do not to want with Haas (and Mazepin)

This is going to rumble on until either he is driven out of F1 or sacked by Haas or worse Haas is sold to his Dad

This wont help Ferrari either if thry keep saying its a Haas issue

1.7 seconds, they're still going through after 5 seconds up here, he's not the first F1 driver to fall foul of UK traffic laws, the groping incident has also been over exaggerated, we have seen a video clip with no history or comment except from viewers of the clip, not unusual in my day but no instant video or social ( anti social) networking to put the wrong (possibly) slant on some high spirited joking around amongst friends.
