Anyone fancy an early start or should i get 3 practice laps round the streets of Monte Carlo?

It's going to rain, change of tactics, as many laps as possible!
Lucky win for me today. I didn't check the weather in the dry quali session so I didn't know the race would be wet. Not realising it would be a wet race I went out early in qualifying on primes and set a decent time holding provisional pole, then sat in the garage watching the timing screens and eventually saw Bushi take pole. I went out again at the end of the session but couldn't put a good lap in and remained P2.
Had a good start in the wet race and stayed close to Bushi around the first lap but on the second lap I locked up under braking into Sainte Devote and lost my front wing. Had a slow in lap dropping to the back behind the Sly and Jos battle and pitting for new inters and a front wing. I didn't really see anyone else on track for a while but they all seemed to have their own incidents and dropped back into my clutches. After my 2nd pitsop I managed to regain the lead and came out a few seconds ahead of Bushi, but Bushi soon destroyed his car unfortunately ending his race and bringing out the safety car. The safety car was out until 3 laps to the end of the race and fortunately I was able to stay a few seconds ahead of Sly to the chequered flag.
Had a good start in the wet race and stayed close to Bushi around the first lap but on the second lap I locked up under braking into Sainte Devote and lost my front wing. After my 2nd pitsop I managed to regain the lead and came out a few seconds ahead of Bushi, but Bushi soon destroyed his car unfortunately ending his race and bringing out the safety car. The safety car was out until 3 laps to the end of the race and fortunately I was able to stay a few seconds ahead of Sly to the chequered flag.
Qualified third 1.5-2s behind those infront and Second place on his debut in this championship, But Slyboogy wasn't elated.
Having got off the line well and very close to Viscount, he got hit into by Jos the Boss, staying in 3rd place he went up the hill with Jos trying to feel him up as their cars grinded. Viscount braked very early at the top of the hill causing the Boogster to bump into him a little causing him to run wide, and he continued his tussle with Jos the Boss right down into the tunnel, both colliding with each other in both occasions, leaving Sly with a damaged front wing.
Slyboogy: "I managed to keep Jos the Boss behind. For a lap, it looked as if Jos was going to get the better of me as I massively struggled with understeer and lock ups on laps 1-2. My pace wasn't great in the first stint, but after a few laps I started to catch those infront, Viscount had a moment at St.Devote, leaving me to pass him up the hill with an exquisite manoeuvre (
)I was running second for a long time and started catching Bushi, Bushi pitted leaving me confused as my tyres where still intact and didnt have much wear, even so, I pitted a lap later, only to lose out to both Bushi and somehow Viscount."
Sly had a massive moment near the end of sector one after the hill, causing him to spin and and break his front win completely.
Here's what he has to say about the incident:
"I was cruising along in third, with my fuel mixture on low, and all of a sudden I felt the back end having a nervous moment, I looks infront and I saw a red badger looking straight at me, with a chainsaw in hand. I tried to avoid it, but I aquaplaned and spun"
It is believed the red badger used the chainsaw to break the Boogsters front wing.
Having to comeback for repairs, he put on a fresh set of intermediate tyres, and began the chase again. It looked as if third was all he was going to muster despite his problems, then all of a sudden Bushi had a big incident causing the safety car to come out.
Sly was closing in on Bushi a little and passed Bushi's wrecked car only for the debris from Bushi's car got lodged under Sly's front wing causing him to crash the car at the last turn, making him having to do a full lap with a puncture and no front wing at all.
Slyboogy: "The badger was at it again!! It tried to take me out before, then took out Bushi then tried to finish me off

I'll do my race write up when I get onto a computer but if you were wondering how I didn't catch you sly, it was the result of 2 unfair drive through penalties, and nice of you to forget about wrecking your car in qually...

Yeah I wrecked my car in qualifying as I fluffed my last lap so I couldn't be bothered going back to the pits.
And sorry, I might have gotten a little a aggressive with our tussle, but it did look as if you kept hammering into me the first few turns, might have been lag though

I didn't get a penalty because of you! But on the run down to Fairmont you were pushing me a bit, but that's racing! I couldn't get my braking right though and kept running into the back of you! Next race, if it's dry I'll show you how good my starts get, but I want Canada to be full wets!Unfair? You had a right go at me, so I got you back

Anyway, race write up time and qually plan was to sit in the garage apart from 2 runs to work on setup, and when I found it was going to rain tactics changed!
So race day and it was wet, but inters surprisingly. Started 4th and last behind Sly and tried to squeeze up the inside but into Casino Square Viscount braked surprisgly early i hit him and Sly went through, I then got him into Mirabeau but he violently got back past into Loews and I got him into Portier but then he got back past me in the tunnel and then I squeezed through at the nouvelle chicane and he returned the favour at tabac as i was a bit too kind with the room i left down the inside. I then followed him for the next 2 laps and passed Viscount en route as he made a mistake into Ste. Devote and slipstreamed Sly through with a magnificently brave manouvre! I was still behind sly at a steady 6 tenths behind until into Massanet I braked a fraction too late and went into the barrier and was forced to pit and my tyres fooled me into thinking they were worn! I then tried to close the gap but then was judged to cut the nouvelle chicane despite being on on the kerbs so I served the drive through instantly, I then was judged to do the same thing! And I had another drive through being nearly 45 seconds behind! Then Bushi binned it and the safety car came out, I dived into the pits and changed my damaged wing, then tried catching the Safety car which clearly was trying to lap me and I couldn't catch up after it let me past. I eventually finished 3rd setting my fastest lap on my last tour of the circuit, 24 seconds behind Sly despite 3/4 extra stops with a surprisingly good race! Next up my favourite track to drive, Canada where I hope to be strong there!
That race proves that Bushi can't race under pressure! The championship now looks like this:
1. Viscount 97pts (5/6)
2. Bushi 87pts (4/6)
3. Jos the Boss 83pts (6/6)
4. Westy 51pts (3/6)
5. Chreden 27pts (2/6)
6. Slyboody 18pts (1/6)

I don't choose the weather! I put it on dynamic and they do the rest! It just shows who's the best in equal cars in wet weather! I like it dry so I can exploit good starts! Don't think I won't weave on you in Canada! I'll be Lewis you be Massa!
