Attention Connectivity issues affecting the site

Currently the site is experiencing connectivity issues due to a network problem.

This will be manifested in slow page loading, time-outs, empty pages, etc.

The host is investigating and it will hopefully be resolved before too long.

I will update this thread as I get more information.

The problem has been resolved and normal service has been resumed.

For reference, it was a DDoS attack saturating some of the upstream providers.
The DDoS traffic has been re-routed.
