It is imperative that as much time as possible is spent on track learning about the car, the tyres and a number of other things. The only reason they are in the pits is because the car is fundamentally useless.

Fernando is setting a blistering pace, he is already into the low 1:27s just 26 laps into his race simulation. That is just a tad over "a lot quicker" than Felipe did in his race sim!
