Ferrari appear to fancy their chances with one stop strategies, McLaren's rubber abusing mechanical grip appears to have forced them into adopting the two stop route. Mercedes have been leaning toward two stops AND Red Bull seem to be undecided...

But will Ferrari be able to make the softer tyre last long enough to make a one stop strategy effective? Won't the heavier cars this year mean that teams will look to run the softer compound for the least amount of time?

That seems to be the big question this year. How will those soft tyres hold out? It will be interesting to see how all the teams are going to cope with degrading tyres. Hopefully we will see excitement right to the end of races.
