What if a driver was declared medically unfit to be in a car for Friday and Saturday but rather than replacing him the team took a gamble and he was declared fit to race on Sunday morning. Would they allow him in the race then?
Well Massa is around 2 seconds slower than alonso, and the 4 tenths Alonso brings to the car, so if we take away 7 seconds from Alonso's time we would get Massa's average time which then shall be decided if in the 107% time
That is strange, I remember recently someone in the same position got to keep their pole for the records, but it won't count for Shumacher? I'm sure Raikkonen got to keep a few of his during the 2005 season where he got pole but had to change engines.
In Monza 71 and Spain 81 the first 5 were nose to tail. The 6th was about 30 seconds off. So this may well be the race with the top 6 closest together.
