Oliver is currently studying for a Masters in F1 at Cambridge University (never heard of it) and was narrowly beaten to the British Formula Three championship by Jaime Alguersuari in 2008.
Most pleasing for me, the result is a vindication of the work of the Racing Steps Foundation - http://www.racingsteps.co.uk/ - whose patrons Graham Sharp and John Surtees have taken it upon themselves to support young talented drivers who lack the funding to progress up the conventional single-seater ladder. Sadly it seems to be harder for young drivers to find willing sponsors in Britain than in other countries, and so the RSF is fulfilling an important role.
