Pre-Season 2016 Season Preview

Teams aren't allowed to use the 2016 spec cars in the wet weather test so guess we won't be seeing much of the new cars until mid-February.

Aren't they testing to ensure they don't last very long, even the hard ones, the object is that the supersoft choice can never finish a race no matter how many sets Bernie allows the teamsLOL

The tyres are specifically designed to ensure performance is limited, the powers that be find that tyres are the least expensive way to overcome performance cheating LOL

At £1,300 per set they are probably the cheapest part of the car. Wasn't there some story about wheel nuts costing $400 each some time ago?

Here's an important piece of news for 2016, the drivers won't be spraying Mumm champagne.

Mumm Leaves Formula One

I love this quote: "In our mission to continually innovate, excite and push the boundaries, we have chosen to explore a new opportunity". Grow up, you make fizzy white wine with a poncey name.

I'm not sure Prost said anything.

He doesn't want to provide any fixes for F1; just says it's fucked... Then says he doesn't want to talk about how it could be fixed.

Non story.

And they call him the professor :-X
