2010 - Summary

Well if that's confirmed it would complete the driver line up for USF1. Not a very strong pairing it would seem and considering they are trying to trade on the fact they are a North American team, not very in keeping with their initial aims.

Now we need to see their car. They are a step closer than Campos but that dosn't mean much really.

Having checked around the web once again things seem to have gone quiet on the US F1 front. The last entry on their official site was last month.

As regards their test session announced for the Barber Motorsport park last month, again it's call gone quiet. There is nothing on the Barber motorsport site to say that the test is going ahead.

US F1 claimed that they would test this month at Barber before joining the rest of the teams at the final test later this month. Time would appear to be running out for them.

US F1 and Campos are going to have a mighty hill to climb.

As it stands, they're going to be the only 2 teams to arrive in Bahrain with no on-track testing.
An unenviable position for any team to be in.

I really hope US F1 can make it happen.
It would be good to get F1 back in the US with all the additional exposure and funds that would bring.

Dosn't seem to be too bad a signing. He knows and Senna and he's won a couple of races at GP2 level so he can't be that bad.

Poor old Lopez. He must be gutted.

The final entry list has been published by the FIA.

So only 12 teams competing, no US F1 or Stefan GP and Campos is now Hispania.

And so this mamoth 17 page, 170 post thread comes to an end.

I wonder if next years silly season will generate as much speculation and confusion.
