Funniest moment... first race... GT3 West Cup race... the paddock for the support events was directly opposite us at the end of the main straight in the infield... early start... 930am... cars wheel out about 300 yards from Turn 12... give it a couple of weaves and then tramp it for a half a second and stamp the brakes to get some heat into them up... the last qualifer wheels out ... 31 of 31 of so... about 3 seconds behind the car in front... weaves left, weaves right, tramps it before straightening up from his right weave, cold tyres, slides straight off the track in front of us... $^%$$ BANG $%^$^ ... into the armco... gives us an apologetic wave as he wobbles off to find the back of the grid... unfortunately he had done in his right rear suspension... we were speculating on his pre race instructions "DO NOT take any risks... Jim wants his car back Monday...."

Being Sunday very early, there were about 20 or so in our section falling off the benches laughing...

It was a good weekend all round...

FYI... if anyone is thinking of coming to next years race... I believe you can start booking accomodation to next years event commencing from the last few days in November into early December... currently set for the same weekend in November (15th / 16th / 17th)...
