The 2012 Season

Yes.

edit: Beaten!
18.2 Any driver who receives three reprimands in the same Championship season will, upon the
imposition of the third, be given a ten grid place penalty at that Event. If the third reprimand is
imposed following an Incident during a race the ten grid place penalty will be applied at the
driver’s next Event.
The ten grid place penalty will only be imposed if at least two of the reprimands were imposed
for a driving infringement.

It's all part of the old F1 database we used to have on the site.

It's full of interesting snippets on race incidents, notes, penalties, etc.

I love that stuff. I've got a whole load of books that each have some of that sort if info' in them but to have it in one place must be really handy.

I'm amazed that Hamilton hasn't got at least 2 reprimands this season. E must be due a visit to the steward's office soon.... they miss him!

Schumacher was lucky to escape a harsher penalty after he deliberately blocked Hamilton in FP3 in retaliation for what he thought was a block on himself by Hamilton earlier.

In the words of Sean Connery "Never Say Never" - apparently we have a wet Monaco GP coming up and we've seen some of them only have about 4 finishes!

Every grand prix has rain predicted in the Formula 1 website, seems to be a trend ever since 2010.

Doesn't mean it won't rain though :)

Nothing made me happier this weekend than seeing a glum faced Mark Webber in the post race interview paddock saying he and the team were finding it hard to understand the car. Brilliant! Now this is nothing against Mark or in fact any team or driver but for me this is why this season has been so fantastic for the neutral fan and as close to the "good old days" as we are likely to get. Thanks to the joys of the modern PC and all the other high tech kit at a teams fingers they virtually understood every aspect of the car before it turned a wheel. Now, at least one element has been taken out of their hands a a big question mark left in it's place. That is of course the tyres. It was generally the tyres that in the 80's gave us those shock results such as Ivan Cappelli leading in France in a Leyton House March and of we have seen something similar this weekend. There will come a time, perhaps by the mid point of the season where one team will understand how the tyres will work in relation to their cars in most situations and for the team that does the championship awaits. But for now, long may teams find it hard to undersstand their cars. I'm sorry Mark, you were right, it is great for the fans and i'm glad you are all finding it hard.
