Hello everyone.
I stumbled across this obituary in The Independent yesterday. It concerns a certain Edward Everett "Teddy" Mayer, a name that hadn't caused any flicker of recognition in my mind, but then who am I !!
Anyway, he was apparently a significant figure in the foundation in several motor racing teams such as McLaren, and had a hand in several drivers careers, such as James Hunt.
