FIA Mohammed Ben Sulayem is the new FIA President

Unlikely

Anyway, the drivers are just as responsible for this shit show as everyone else involved in F1.

I notice they're only speaking out now they're being hit in their pockets.

for me this is only going to end up 1 way. all of this completely needless & all started by ben sulayem. i dont know if he feels the need to justify his job. but if he continues to upset all the drivers its only going to end 1 way & that him replaced

also the drivers rarely agree on anything unanimously these days & yet theyve all come together against him on this

The drivers need to be very careful. If they go on strike we have seen that there is a group of young drivers, sitting, waiting, who will be more than happy not to swear and wear the right underpants to have a go in an F1 car. I wonder if we might get better racing with out some of the current, aging crop?

You can out Bin Sulayem unless there is a vote of no confidence by all motorsport federations like with Mosley in 2009.
I think that might happen. Either that or Liberty finds a different homologation provider. They are just a vendor after all. If I was Liberty I would give the contract to IMSA. I bet IMSA would work hard and earn their stripes.

I wonder how many neighbouring Middle East countries would back Bin Sulayem if there was a vote

no. we are not shocked. but i doubt he will be in charge by start of 2025. you cant anger that many people & if you take on the drivers, theirs only 1 winner

Gentleman, I give you Max Mosley and Jean-Marie Balestre.

You can run an organisation however you like so long as the principal players are trousering the cash and the viewing figures remain healthy.
