It is Concorde Time again.

Money and power over the regulations determines results on the track. The last Concorde was heavily skewed towards the big 3 teams and not surprisingly, those three teams have dominated the podium and TV coverage since.

All the stories that we read about the future of F1 should be read with that in mind. The information was leaked by someone to strengthen their position in those negotiations. The Pirhana Club is getting down to business.

Can I take an issue with you over this idea there were 3 teams who obtained a preferential treatment? I too watch F1, and counted only one team with two cars over past 4 years dominating series, so, what are we talking about? Are you suggesting this was all prearranged through individual CAs?

Money is good but not all, just ask Honda, Toyota, and many others. Without an idea man in your group, you will not make it.

Of course teams need to spend the money well, but if you don't have the money, it doesn't matter how good you are.

My point is that winning the fight for revenue share is a necessary step before it is possible to win on the track.

It's their money, why should then any fan or member of media be concerned about it? If you look for resources parity between Tier 1 and 2 on the grid, then I predict it will never happen. Socialism in F1? Give me a break. Reward for winning or bonus for contributing is not that strange.

Actually the money which drives F1 is paid by people like me who pay a TV subscription, attend the races and buy the products which are advertised so I am entitled to voice and opinion on how the money is distributed within the teams. Add in to that I am a fan of 40 years standing so have given part of myself to the sport.

To avoid misunderstanding, I repeat, subject was allegedly increased Ferrari's internal budget. No offense FB, but I doubt that's my or yours money, regardless of years us watching F1.

Money-pot you are referring to fall into a different column, however that is not what was discussed; at least as I understood subject matter. Regarding rewards, you and I might probably disagree. While on the subject, it is not unique to F1 when someone - for who he is - is paid premium price just for showing up. If we want to introduce Robin Hood to F1, perhaps we can start with CVC, etc....

Nightmare ‘no deal' could lead to F1 exodus
The same crossed my mind more than once, however I have difficulty to accept that my life as a long time fan of F1 could come to the end. One more decade would sit well with me.

Any thoughts about F1 TV offered by Liberty for this year? I am a subscriber on mobile (tablet) F1 app. it's not as good as a race on TV, but its better than nothing if one is on the road. This year I am considering to add F1 TV service, however I have no idea what to expect. Current presentation of pre-season testing on official F1 website leaves me speechless, and if this is preamble what's coming up, I wonder whether it will be worth to subscribe. I am not sure if F1 TV was offered last year, but some reviews on Apple store download site are very negative. Does anyone here has the subscription?
