TORO CORSE to Join Rolex Series with Two Lamborghini Gallardos
Over the years, many famous marques from Ferrari, Ford, Chevrolet, Porsche and Mazda have competed at Daytona in the Rolex 24..........but not Lamborghini. That may likely change come 2011. According to the above article, the Lambo Gallardo is currently going through Grand-Am's homologation process but if all goes well, the cars will join a GT field in late January that's expected to see Mazda, Chevrolet(w/both the Camaro GT-R and Corvette C-6R), Ford(w/its iconic' Mustang), Porsche and possibly Ferrari as well.
.......now if we could just get Ford to bring its' Ford GT over to Grand-Am............
