Probably not someone known to most here, but John Andretti just passed away. He was 56 and died of cancer. Had limited results over his career, winning one Indy Car race, two NASCAR races, and three sports car races....but he was always the most outgoing and charming of the Andretti clan. Always liked him.
He was the son of Aldo Andretti, Mario Andretti’s twin brother.
Watched him racing in the 1980’s and 1990’s and always hoped the best for him. I find that his passing affects me more than Kobe.
