Nick Heidfeld is doing Bruno Senna no favours whatsoever. His times are fast, consistent and making the Lotus Renault look like the class of the field when it comes to tyre preservation.

Impressive stuff indeed! I think his smooth style must help with the tyre preservation!

That would be because he was trying to persuade a Russian Virgin to do something she wasn't inclined to do...

Where did he find one of those. The only few left here are statues in the town centre. Not to sure about those either.

Who has the fastest toy will always win, its been that way for as long I've watched F1 and is the reason the team with the top car normally finishes with its drivers 1st and 2nd in the championship and is the reason guys like Senna banged down the door of Williams back in the day, the difference in drivers is minimal, these guys can all do things with cars we mortals can only dream of, what does differentiate them is constantly, experience and metal attitude + setup.

I'm no fan of shuey but you dont lose your speed overnight or in 2 or 3 years, put him in the rb7 and you can expect another title if it suits his style.

If the cars quick expect Nick to be right up there this year, it will be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure if indeed the r31 is quick...the next test will give more of an indication when they bring the real parts for the opening rounds.
