Pre-Season JEREZ TEST 10th-14th Feb 2011

True, maybe we will see McL do a bit more running, but last year they hardly did much testing in comparison to the other teams. Surely, though, they must get out and do a few long runs before Bahrain just to see how they perform...

Not according to my records. There were two or three days where Lewis did on average 20 fewer laps than those posted by the highest. But the McLaren MP4-25 was pretty reliable and completed lots of laps from day one of 2010 testing.

Ye, I'm impressed with Heidfield's time. He's already half a second quicker than Petrov yesterday, although of course we have no idea what testing regimes they are on, but then again I suppose he has something to prove!

Heidfields programme for today.
http://www.lotusrenaultgp.com/spip.php?rubrique64 Nick's programme will involve short to medium runs for balance work. For the afternoon it's longs runs followed by starts and procedures.

Lewis is back on track!!!

He's back in the pits...

He's back on track...

He's back in the pits!

In out in out shake it all about

Nick Heidfeld is doing Bruno Senna no favours whatsoever. His times are fast, consistent and making the Lotus Renault look like the class of the field when it comes to tyre preservation.

That is an impressive effort for his first time in the car.
I wonder if Lotus Renault will put in a couple of qualfying simulation runs the end of the day.
