Current Haas

From the start of the 2016 season we will be able to welcome the Haas F1 Team into the F1 fold. They have just announced one of their drivers in a live stream on their website a really good signing with the talent that is Roman Grosjean. No word of the second driver as yet.

Stewart Haas Racing in NASCAR already stands the team in good stead to getting off to a flying start. These guys know how to race. In turn they also have one of the best wind tunnels in the world and CNC factories at their beck and call as part of the Haas empire.

They seem to think they can hit the ground running and score points in their first season.

I say good luck to them.

in guenther defence P1 (i know your just the messenger) it has got to be hard to attract great people because why would you to go haas, there isnt much ambition as much i like hulkenburg them hiring him over any youth talent is a bit of kick in teeth. guenther has seemingly been let go for wanting money to fix these issues, with seemingly aging facilities

i was watching this video with guether steiner some good stories backs lando to win the title, says he shouldve left earlier, because he became run down everyone happy with 9th & he didnt care as he wanted better. 1 funny story, including 1 where he expected catering on the private jet back from a race i think & gene said no, guenther was starving got the haas catering to bring something hoping lasagne, Pie & he got baked beans

Now Toyota Gazoo Racing Haas F1 Team. I'm really struggling to work out what Toyota get out of this, although I presume they have longer term plans to build and engine and/or buy the team.

Aint part of the plan is to get that rally driver into F1 as he switched to Toyota in the long run

Toyota don't like losing to Honda and also they were No 1 in the US market a while back so US team and reminder in the US market that they are back seems to make business sense .

They need to realise their disastrous 2000-2009 venture they can't run like some department in a big corporation
