BTCC Ford to return to BTCC in 2009

This is great news.

British Touring Car Championship supremo Alan Gow has spoken of his delight that the Ford name will return to the series next year under the stewardship of Arena International.

Arena, who had previously run the works Honda squad in the BTCC, announced on Tuesday that they will field a team of Independently-run Ford Focus STs in 2009 with multiple race-winner Tom Chilton as the lead driver. [Read More]

Hopefully this will make up for the loss of SEAT.

What a huge dissapointment they were I was expecting a lot more from the Arena Fords not even getting a single point.
Hopefully they'll get better durining the the season though
