Although the teams may have agreed not to use KERS in 2010 it would appear the basic point of F1, to develop things for road car applications, still holds true. Ferrari have used the Geneva Motor Show to show off their new "green" 599 with an F1 based KERS system which gives an extra 100 BHP when charged and is used to run the air con and power steering pumps, presumably allowing the engine provide more power to making the car go quicker.
The scary thing is Ferrari reckon it will DOUBLE the price of the car, gulp!
