F1 Set to Open with a Snooze every season!

Melbourne chiefs are happy with the extra viewers they get in Europe from running the GP after the clocks have gone forward. So they are keen to keep the number 2 slot and have Bahrain open the F1 season from now on. Yet again we get to see how chasing financial gains will severely cripple a sport and prove ultimately to be self defeating!:

I'd think Melbourne were delighted with the outcome. As it is, we've got the boring races and, unless we can find a rainy season for them, we have to fit them somewhere. Damn you Ecclestone!
