Sebastian Vettel's simulation had a series interruptions so it is probably wise to take that total time with a pinch of salt. However you can see that his pace was very steady and rapid compared to Schuey and Nico. Even compared to his teammate he was far less erratic.

If Red Bull were running supersoft/medium and Mercedes, soft/hard, then there is nothing in it. And Mercedes needn't worry, as the consensus is that there is one second between the compounds.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/89588 Formula 1 teams will meet tomorrow night to make a final decision on whether the final pre-season test in Bahrain will go ahead, AUTOSPORT can reveal.
The Barcelona test concludes on Monday and sources indicate that it is impossible to delay making a call any longer because of the problems that could arise from uncertainty over whether to go to Bahrain or remain in Spain.

Felipe Massa was also doing a race simulation! I'm pretty sure it wasn't common knowledge at the time... :embarrassed:

1hr29.01.999 vs 1hr29.01.170! :o

How random is that!? :dizzy:

Massa wins by a hairline crack on the nose cone of his Ferrari! :cheer:

How do we explain Webber's fastest lap?

It was 3.5 seconds faster than any other lap in that 18 lap run, and 2.5 seconds faster than his second fastest lap, which came on the first lap of a 13 lap stint earlier in the day.
