I lost a lot of respect for what Evra did at the end of the game, that was completely unnecessary

Yeah am mightly peed off. I travelled all the way down to Ipswich only for the game to be abandonned. I really don't think i'll be able to go to the re-arranged match either as it'll be on a weekday and i probably won't be able to get out of work .

Ouch. The Dons game, after buying tickets the day earlier, was called off. Luckily it was called off on a Friday.

Yeah that was lucky. I didn't get back home until 20 past midnight, after waking up at 4AM in the morning to set off at 5AM to get down there for a 3PM kick off. But having read a few reports the game was a doubt on Friday so why the hell the ref let the game go ahead is beyond me. He had doubts before the game got under way anyways.

Well it was my first time going to a match that was abandonned. But about 30 years ago me dad also went to see the Boro play Ipswich only to get within five minutes of the stadium to find out the game got called off. Back then it took longer to get there and back and he had almost a 22 hour round trip, so thank god we weren't gone for that long.

Yeah that probably peed alot of them off. Especially spending money on Plane or Ferry tickets aswell as Hotels. Surely one of the coldest Nations touraments for years!

Ouch thats not very good! Well at least Bolton and QPR lost aswell, so it keeps it tight down the bottom and gives Wolves half a chance of staying up. Plus there's still 13 games to go!

Well i think it was obverse that Aston Villa v Man City was always gonna be the most boring game of the weekend after what went on the rest of the weekend. Alex Mcleish is really living on borrowed time at the moment i can't see the Villa fans putting up with the negative football there playing for much longer.

Mcleish or McCarthy the next to be sacked?

Also AVB at Chelski could do with given more time to get rid of the old deadwood and bring in some young talent and work towards building a future championship winning team. AVB IMHO could be the man to do that!

Letting McEachran go out on loan, then playing Bosingwa at left-back instead of Ryan Bertrand would suggest not.

Can't say I'm surprised, but it seems bad timing considering there is a relegation dog-fight to be fought.

Two months too late for Wolves I fear. Who are they going to get now - Warnock? Curbishley? Bruce? Not much of an upgrade on Mick.

I'd look seriously at Dave Jones being given a second chance.

I'm not sure about the timing of it either, and I didn't think the timing of the sacking of Warnock from QPR was much better. If the owners are considering sacking the manager they would be much better off getting it out the way in December and giving the new manager more opportunity to evaluate the squad and to bring in a few players during the January transfer window. I know Hughes managed to bring a few in but given QPR's budget I think he could have done a lot more with a bit more time. I like having managers with character like Mick McCarthy and Warnock in the Premiership so I'm sad to see them go though.

The relegation battle is wide open, certainly it could be anyone from the bottom five and I wouldn't even say anyone in the bottom half is safe yet!

Rangers have lodged their intention to go into administration - so that basically gives the SPL title to Celtic for the next few years, then.

Hopefully there's an Alex Ferguson coming up through the managerial ranks who can lead one of the Edinburgh sides or Aberdeen or Dundee U into keeping things remotely interesting.
