I honestly have no idea.

There is no way of checking that other than viewing the database directly.

It will be a good feature as it will give you another mechanism with which to surface popular posts on the homepage and elsewhere on the site. Once in place, these would not need to b editorially managed.

I did for one person. Then they left so it didn't matter. It was a bit of a nuisance when there is an indication that their is a new post on a thread so you go to it and there is nothing extra there.
