Winter Olympics

At the moment, with all our realistic medal prospects going into this Olympics, it looks like those who achieved their potential are going home with Gold and that's it.

Very odd.

Still, my favorite performance so far was our 6th place in the men's cross country interval race. Andrew Musgrave giving it so much that he had to stall the start of his post race interview so he could throw up.

watching biathlons. what surprised me is how little skiing talent is weighted. because you could be 1 of the greatest skiers. but if you can't hit 5/5 consistently. you'll rarely if ever win a medal
Ah, but it is down to the best skiers. The ones who can combine speed with the least effort so that they can shoot effectively.

Try running 100 meters along the road and back to your house as fast as you can then try and thread cotton through the eye of a needle.

Those skiers who can keep their breathing steady and their heart rate down while smashing out the speed will shoot much more accurately.
