Unable to upload files to posts

I've tried everything but I still cannot upload files/photos, I can upload a new avatar from my pc but I just can't do it though the upload file link in a thread all I get is a black box error message..

It is really staring to piss me off...

Any ideas?

Nope I'm afraid, it works fine for me in both the app and desktop version of Internet Explorer in Windows 8, which I think is what you're using?

Screenshot Mephistopheles? It sounds more like a problem with your computer than the site, but maybe I or someone else can help you if you elaborate.

Do you have access to another computer or browser to try from there?

I can't do a screen shot because I can't upload a file but it is a black box with white writing which says

The Following Error Occurred

There was a problem uploading the file

I have tried disabling the firewall and protection I'm going to try a different browser...

Can you try clearing your browser of all cache - history, cookies, files, etc?

That may resolve it.

I've done that I'm trying disabling some ad on at the moment.

That hasn't worked either..

It works with explorer It must be a firefox problem

Try chrome. Explorer sucks.

Yep that's what I was thinking ExtremeNinja it seems to be the latest firefox update that is causing the problem version 20.0.1

It seems to think that cookies are disabled when they are not....

Just uploaded that using Firefox 20.0.1 on Windows 7.

Umm maybe I have a bit of malware floating around I'll run a scan using Malwarebytes
