The chap on the right went on to be described as The Most Beautiful Man in the World, David Sylvian. The chap on the left is Mick Karn, and in the middle is Steve Jansen. You may know them better when they looked like this.

I may know them better in that look - who the hell are they?

I thought that the one on the left was Pat Sharp!

This band is widely regarded as one of, or if not the worst band of all time. They they are also considered to be part of the inspiration for Grunge.

Okey dokey peoples.

I'm desperate to listen to some new (to me) music so hit me with some recommendations

I'm in to pretty much anything. I own hundreds of album's and stream many more so nothing (unless it's way out there) is off the table.

If you like shoegazing, try Sunday (1994) or Rocket. If you want something a bit more synth pop you could give Lebanon Hanover a listen. They remind me of 90s Depeche Mode. If you fancy some metal rap (yes, seriously) Alt Blk Era will fit the bill.

So far, Alt Blk Era gets a double thumbs up.

Lebanon Hanover is probably a not for me but need a bit more of a listen.

The Reytons sound good but need to explore more.

Struggling to find Sunday (do you mean The Sundays?) and Rocket so some pointers on album titles would be good FB.

YouTube is your friend for new music. If you start with something you like the algorithms will visit all sorts of weirdness to you.
