We were in the Holt End just a few rows back from the pitch. Didn't want to risk standing with our lad at his first gig.

Villa park was great. Really well organized. Easy to get to by train and not too difficult to get into the ground through security. Coming away was no drama either.

I've heard some horror stories about Axel's voice but it held up really well all night. Not quite the same power as thirty years ago but that's to be expected. The band were tight.

We really enjoyed it. Great, eclectic setlist with something from every album. 31 songs and over three hours. Talk about getting your money's worth.
Anfield was great as well so easy to get into, as well security helpful. although i got 2nd hand anxiety & stress from all those in area standing who were running in as it was starting.

but as you say that what you want, your "moneys worth" & a great show, knows how to work a ground, i think both did. because in dua lipa case. it was hit after hit. very few obsure tracks. plenty of fireworks

very sad news. i couldn't believe it when i heard it as its crazy he was doing a concert just 3 weeks ago at villa park. that incredibly raised 140m for local charities, just what a character he was, & that osbournes reality show was way before it's time. & probably contributed to his modern longevity

In 2006 Q Magazine published a list worst 50 albums ever. I will admit to owning The Return of Bruno by Bruce Willis. Anybody else want to use this as a fess hole?

I'm shocked. While I've heard a few of the albums on that list I only own one of them.

"Cut the Crap" by the Clash. If they had taken the advice of the title the album would have been almost blank. Possibly the only song that would have made it on to Sandanista which, keep in mind, was a triple album with more filler than Joan Collins face, is "This is England"

Quite what Strummer was thinking when he recorded this pile of dog toffee is anyone's guess.
