We all know from our overtaking stats that 1984 was "the" year. Here's a crummy street circuit whose surface is breaking up, in a bizarre location alongside a river in a city with no prior record of hosting a GP and a track laid out in a concrete jungle. Oh and there's overtaking and lots of it. (Singapore and Valencia anyone?)
