My nearest circuit is Brands Hatch, one of our most historic racing venues. Housing developers and the bubbleheads have curbed the racing and impeded circuit developments. We've lost just about all major World Class events because they're "too noisy" and cause traffic jams. Duh. Demolish the lot (houses) and bring back F1 and other loud stuff, I say.

Same happened here a couple of years ago racecub . A lot off people bought a house near an airport because it was cheap. After that they all started complaining together and the airport couldn't do night flights anymore.

Seems a very unfair way of going about things.

The world is full of selfish bastards!

I like the 'noise' of the circuit, our church bells, nocturnal animals and crowing cockerels - it is all part of where I live and will be sad to leave. But like all my 'memories', they are firmly planted in my head - it would be an absolute bugger if I should end up with dementia!
