Ok so you've just taken your 3rd World drivers and World constructors championships in 5 seasons (68,70,72) and by now you have exhausted almost every method of celebrating you could think off. Well if you're team Lotus the best way to stick it to the rest of F1 is by releasing your very own single entitled Team Lotus Sings.

It's a double "A" side featuring the unforgetable classics: "The Champions" b/w "Workin'al'nighter"

Featuring Emerson Fittipaldi's mechanic Eddie Dennis and the rest of the Lotus mechanics in a pub sing along it's actually hillarious. The lyrics are pretty clever and it's actually not as bad as you expect it to be.

My copy was purchased from the Classic Team Lotus website:

http://www.classicteamlotus.co.uk/content/shop.aspx

And has been signed by Emerson Fittipaldi, Hazel Chapman, Peter Warr and Eddie Dennis with the proceeds going to a mechanics charity.

I don't know if the rumours of the singe reaching number 32 on the Norfolk Turkey farmers weekly chart maybe untrue but it certainly never ever troubled the main pop charts.

It's an item from an era when formula one was a whole lot less serious than it is now.

It get's a
