With fall now ensconsed on the calendar and the leaves beginning to change into their glorious fall colors, it is time again to clip the apex and see what's on tap this weekend.....................
~~~Australian V8 Supercars: Bathurst 1000, Mt. Panorama Circuit--Bathurst, NSW(3.861-mile natural terrain road course). Every major series has its' marquee event, its' crown jewel.........NASCAR has both the Daytona 500 and Coca-Cola 600; Indycar racing has the Indianapolis 500, Formula 1 has the Grand Prix of Monaco....in the Land Down Under, Aussies' near and far flock to the Mt. Panorama Circuit and one of the most challenging tracks in all of motor racing for the longest enduro on the V8 circuit......the Bathurst 1000.
Of course, there are other events on the calendar as well................

~~NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Pepsi Max 400, Auto Club Speedway--Fontana, Ca.(2-mile medium-banked oval)

~~FIM MotoGP Championship: Malaysian Grand Prix, Sepang International Circuit--Sepang, Malaysia(3.44-mile road course)
~~Renault World Series: Catalyuna Circuit-Montmelo, Spain
~~2010 British Touring Car Championship: Round 10[races 28-30], Brands Hatch--Kent, England(1.198-mile Indy Circuit)
