Mercedes' DAS system is legal ... for one year only

Despite the regulations not changing next year now - they have been pushed to 2022 - the rules have been tweaked for 2021 to make DAS illegal.

It's not even clear whether we will see it in use this year.

It's such a clever, innovative system - I'm interested to see what advantage it provides, if any.

I absolutely hate the "ban first, admire later" culture of modern F1. It goes against everything the so called pinnacle of motorsport is supposed to be about.

Well at the moment Mercedes F1 are busy creating breathing systems for the NHS. So I don’t suppose they are much engaged with F1.
