If Brands is not OK for F1, why is it OK for F2?

It all depends on the Grade of circuit licence the FIA gives you. Brands has a Grade 2 licence, which is everything except F1 and F1 testing:

Unfortunately that's a function of the editor - it automatically inserts a line break for each line, even if you do use the plain text editor.

Yes indeed the car not only appears to be slow but now unreliable.

It's taken over 20mins to recover the car so far!!!
