Good to see Rubens and Williams (I'm biaised, I know) banging in some competitive times from the off. They were starting to worry me...

Me too; let's just hope they were not low-fuel glory runs on supersofts to make them look good to potential investors, what with their impending flotation and all (not that I'm cynical in any way).

Even if they were low fuel/super-soft, they're the first under 1.20 (according to the Beeb) which indicates a decent turn of ultimate speed...a step in the right direction at least pace-wise

Barrichello's time was set on the second lap of a nine lap run.Definitely not a low fuel glory run.

High 1.18's sportsman.... mmm doubt it - don't think anyone is really willing to show off their pace yet and I've heard rain clouds are hovering...

Could be right Chasz.Maybe wishful thinking on my part.Alonso did a series of low fuel three lappers yesterday.
I am expecting something similair from RBR.Mind games.

di Resta has hardly impressed me, its probably because he's British, but there has been a lot of hype about him.

Ye... I know that he has been complaining a lot about brake issues - just got to wait until next test and see again how he compares to Sutil
