Is it made clear when a post is edited by a moderator?

With freedom of speech in mind, and the concept of edit altering meaning, will this be patent in any post edited by moderators?

Moderators only ever edit posts to remove contentious, potentially libellous, or comments which otherwise break the rules.
Or to remove a quoted post which itself has been deleted for breaking the rules.
As such, there would be no adverse effect with regards to the original author's intent or meaning.

Having said that, whenever a post is edited by a moderator to remove something unsuitable, the member in question is informed.

In which case i would prefer that any post made by myself that warrants editing be deleted, please.
