Ferrari?

Seen so many fingers in my time FB.

As you say, it would be nice to see some different boys on the podium this weekend to open up the running still many races to go and it would be a shame if it was done and dusted too soon..

OT - I'm not entirely convinced that Seb has a sense of humour (if he does he leaves at home) and as for Schumie :nah:

I think Fernando is showing a little form recently. Certainly impressed in FP2. I'm hoping Lewis will be able to pull it out of the bag when it matters. Shows how different this race is looking that i am talking about Alonso and Hamilton dueling for pole.

yeah FP 3 if he didn't he probably would have won it last year, he likes the track

Managed to see FP2 Highlights today (belatedly) and Massa looks like he is going to Park one at any moment. Looks like a F1 novice behind the wheel.....sorry they do decently.

Massa always looks like he is about to park one. That's usually because he is.

Shocking really, gives you no confidence, I stated before, I wonder if he is being retained so as to see what becomes of Kubica for a possible 2013 seat.

Kubica won't be back in F1.

And where did you get this information from? Do you mean he wont be back this year? Or in general?

If in general then, I am really, really saddened by that. I was becoming a very big supporter of this guy, since 2008 what he did in the BMW then what he did in the Renault in 2010 just gained my respect, especially his time at Renault.

He is a great talent, a championship contender definitely! A world champion in the waiting? Of course!

That accident couldn't have happened at the worst of times, he was near his peak, it happened just before the season started, the Renault looked like a promising car and in his hands he definitely would have gotten great results, then there's also the silly season, he could have moved to Ferrari or another team if he continued his great form...now he will be known as a 'unknown'

Which saddens and pains me...

As for Massa getting replaced, well he's been better this year than last year, has got unlucky in Malaysia, China and Turkey due to Ferrari always messing up his stops. He had the pace in Malaysia and could have been on the podium but Ferrari messed up one stop of his making him tumble down a few positions, China was a great race for him, Turkey he had the pace, but had problems in qualifying, and 3 out 4 of his pitstops were ruined, one being his fault granted, but the other two? Ferrari's fault, who on another note need to shape up as their pitstop times are slow and awful.

He's only been a tenth off of Alonso in Monaco so far, and Alonso is meant to be a street circuit "specialist" according to some.

So he's not doing that bad is he? Especially compared to last year...

It's just my opinion based on the seriousness of his injuries.

Of course he could prove me wrong but based on everything I've heard, I don't think he'll have the mobility, strength or fitness required to compete in F1.

I sincerely hope he does prove me wrong.

They said he will likely make FP appearances by the end of the season.
