I've only added the points for the top 5 drivers and teams to avoid cluttering the charts.

What's interesting is that from Monaco onwards, you can clearly see the rate of change of points accumulated for both Brawn and Red Bull and to some extent the respective drivers too.

Charts updated with the results from Hungary.

The momentum that Brawn and Jenson had is clearly draining away with each race.

A disastrous weekend for Red Bull, scoring no driver or constructor points.

Jenson's lead is reduced very slightly but his nearest rival is now his team mate who has jumped 2 places to 2nd.

McLaren are also on the up, now in 4th place having secured more points in the last 3 races than any other team.

Jenson Button has only scored 11 points in the last 5 races.

He must be thanking his lucky stars that none of his closest rivals have been able to close the gap significantly in the last few races.

Kimi Räikkönen has jumped 2 places into 5th place thanks to his first win of the season.

It looks to me that Mr. Räikkönen is going to get one of the Red Bulls at the end of the season, his is the steepest gradient at the moment.

Nico Rosberg fails to score for only the third time this season, but I expect Williams will be delighted to be away from the low downforce tracks and heading East.

Sutil's points at Monza mean there are now only two one-man teams left: Fernando Alonso has not been challenged by Romain Grosjean as he wasn't by Nelsinho Piquet; Kazuki Nakajima has failed to add to Nico Rosberg's points tally.

Well we know for sure now that there will be a new WDC at the end of this season as it is now impossible for Kimi or Lewis to gain enough points in the last 4 races.

Both Red Bull drivers would also appear to be out of the running as either one would need 3 wins with Jenson failing to score to be in with a chance going into the final race.

The odds favour Jenson as all he has to do is stay within 3 points of Rubens for the remaining races.

Similarly there will also be a new WCC and barring a disaster it's going to be Brawn GP.

Jenson and Brawn are certainly making life difficult for themselves.

Jenson still needs 4 points to secure the WDC and Brawn require 0.5 points.
I bet they wish now that Malaysia had been full points.

Mark Webber has flatlined, not scoring any points for the last 5 races.
He hasn't done Red Bull any favours in their quest to win the WCC.
